ATHENS, Aug 28 Reuters - Argentina beat Italy 84-69 to win the men's Olympic basketball
gold, the country's first medal in the sport.

The win caps an amazing day for the South American country, which earlier won soccer
gold. Argentina had not won an Olympic title in any sport since 1952.

The United States won the basketball bronze medal.
