Qld: Power failure hits southside

More than 30,000 houses on Brisbane's southside are without power following a failure
in a supply sub station at Doboy.

A spokeswoman for electricity distributor Energex says 37,105 consumers between the
Port of Brisbane, Wynnum and inner suburban Wooloongabba were blacked out.

The spokeswoman says engineers are working on the fault, but don't know how long the
blackout will last.
