NSW: Youths confess to throwing rocks at cars

SYDNEY, April 23 AAP - Three youths have confessed to throwing rocks at cars in Sydney's west.

A woman raised the alarm about 4.30am (AEST) today after seeing three teenaged boys
throwing rocks from a pedestrian bridge over Cowpasture Road at Bossley Park.

Police said three 17-year olds ran away after officers spotted them in nearby bushes.

They were caught and later confessed to throwing rocks.

The boys were released pending a decision on possible charges.

There were no reports of damage to cars, police said.
