VIC:CBD killer loses appeal bid

Melbourne gunman CHRISTOPHER HUDSON .. who shot dead a father-of-three and injured
two others in a shooting in the centre of Melbourne in 2007 .. has lost a bid to appeal
his 35-year jail term.

The Victorian Court of Appeal today refused HUDSON leave to appeal his sentence for
killing BRENDAN KEILAR and seriously injuring PAUL DE WAARD and KAERA DOUGLAS.

Mr KEILAR and Mr DE WAARD were shot by HUDSON as they raced to help Ms DOUGLAS when
they saw HUDSON pulling her from a taxi during the morning peak hour in June 2007.
